Five-Star Car Rental Experience! I had an amazing experience with Evolution rental car company! From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and very clear. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything was explained and taken care of. The car itself exceeded my expectations — it was a high-level, comfortable vehicle that made my trip even more enjoyable. It was clean, well-maintained, and felt like driving luxury. Decent car. Decent service. I changed my dates multiple times and they accommodated me. The one bad thing is that the driver locked the keys in the car and caused us a two-hour delay that put my drive out of town into Medellín congestion and nighttime in the mountains. The driver said they could do something for me but the company never did.

My experience was not a good one. To begin with, the person who assisted me was completely rude and unprofessional. I was given a visibly dirty car. Although I was told it was "a little dirty," the vehicle was actually muddy and in unacceptable condition. Additionally, when they charge you for the rental, a significant amount of money is held as a deposit. In my case, I paid in U.S. dollars and was told the refund would be processed within 7 business days. However, it ended up taking up to 12 business days. You can imagine how long you actually have to wait to get your money back. As for the car itself, I didn’t experience any issues mechanically, but due to the poor customer service and the delay in the refund process, I believe there are far more reliable options out there for renting a car in 2025. Personally, I wouldn’t rent here again.

I would be very careful renting from Evolution Car Rental in Medellín. Our experience was very disappointing. They have still not returned our deposit, and communication was extremely poor throughout the process. Customer service was hard to reach, and they often did not return calls or messages when we needed help. On the day we needed to return the car for Pico y Placa restrictions, the road was obstructed and we urgently needed guidance. They did not call us back or offer support, which created unnecessary stress. We also received little help regarding where certain cars needed to be returned. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to return deposits made this a very negative experience. I would NOT recommend this company. DO NOT RENT A VEHICLE FROM THEM, THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR DEPOSIT!

Bad experience. The person who asisted me was so kind and professional but customer service by phone and trying to solve an issue with the car was so rude and unprofessional. The car had a light issue and I had to fix it by my self. Shifting gear had a noise and trouble and they didn’t do anything. Finally they decided not to answer my calls.
