Bike Rental & Self Guided Tours Altos Medellin

Couldn’t have been a better experience. I rented two bikes for a triathlon in Cartagena because we didn’t want to be traveling with ours and while we were a little nervous about the logistics, since they would be shipped from Medellín to Cartagena, it all worked out amazingly. They were very communicative throughout the process. Booked a few weeks earlier, they reached out a few days before to give me the contact info of the guy delivering them to us in Cartagena. Kevin delivered to our Airbnb and picked them up after the race. The bikes were amazing! Quality. Much better than what I owned. Everything in top condition, tires, seats, handle bars. I would 100% recommend renting road bikes from them for completion or fun. Prices are fair and quality is excellent.

Omar has been great. Bike worked perfectly. Omar has great English if you don't speak Spanish. Specilized bikes with disks are great for these steep roads. My bike was a Tarmac 6 with compact 105 components. Came with two water bottle cages and spair tire and repair kit. This is a new location and still transitioning 9th of January 2025. Much better location than before as a tourist.

What a find!!! These guys are superb. While filming in Medellin, I was keen to ride and do so with locals. Dan and Omar took care of securing the perfect bike and setting it up for me, but the five stars are really based on the rest of the experience…Not only did the lovely Omar arrange everything for our first ride, but he also introduced me to a group of his mates. Across three rides I enjoyed great company, wonderful landscape and charming cafe stops. Oh and seriously hard climbs! If a ride experience in Medellin is sought, these are the guys…

I just want to share that the people at Bike Rental asked for 100% advanced payment and when I had to cancel my trip because one of my children got very sick, they never reimbursed me. They even initially promised to do so and stated to not get back to me until I got sick of asking for news. Be very careful with trusting these people. On top of all the fees of cancelling the trip me and my wife had planned, this was really the worst experience.
