Active Rent a Car

If you are thinking about renting a car in Salta, you absolutely have to use Activa Rent a Car. The level of customer service from start to finish was impeccable - both in store and over email. They gave us a thorough introduction to the car whilst also giving us lots of recommendations for our road trip. Special shout out to Augustina who was super helpful! The car was absolutely great and got us through some tricky roads, all for a very reasonable price. Our road trip around Salta has been a highlight of our trip and all thanks to Activa!

We rented a car with Active for five days to do a loop around Salta. The car was in excellent condition, clean and the owner spoke impeccable English and was available to help us at all times via WhatsApp. On our last day we had a flat tire, and she called a local car repair shop that helped us change the tires. We were pleasantly surprised by their service, and we had a lovely vacation in the Salta region. Would definitely recommend to hire any car here!

We rented a Citroen Berlingo from them about a week ago and were more than happy with it. The car was almost new and in good condition. Enough space for four people and a lot of backpacks. Everyone was very kind and the employess were working fast such that there was literally no waiting time. Everything in the process was explained well. Five days later I have the deposit back. Very nice experience, I can only recommend them!

Hello, we rented a car from this company, unfortunately on the way back to return the car someone broke into us. We called the company to report the damage and ask what was needed for the insurance for them. We did everything according to their request, police station, photos of everything. And yet the company comes to us with claims that the insurance company is not willing to cover the damage and we have to pay for it. Without any help from the company or consideration and an attempt to charge the offending driver for the payment. Disappointing experience from this company

At first, the staff was very friendly and the car was completely okay. The second something went down (completely not on our fault) they backed down and did nothing to help us. We had to walk over to the police station and give a statement in Spanish although we don’t speak it fluently and basically bend over backwards for the insurance. Eventually nothing helped, they still charged us, and it’s unclear why are you paying for there insurance. Would advise to take another car from a different company in a bit higher price so that you’re not gonna pay huge amounts of money for no reason.
