Hertz El Calafate - Centro

Good experience. Easy pick up and return. Smart staff. The car was a bit beaten up but when there was a tire issue, one of the technicians provided immediate help. Opens and closes on time. Only one thought - they should have cars in slightly better condition.

We had a really great experience with Hertz in El Calafate! The service was excellent both when picking the car up and when returning it — quick, friendly, and professional. The car itself was almost brand new, very clean, and comfortable to drive. Highly recommend!

They are super nice and kind, everything was explained clearly. I booked car in advance, pick up was very smooth and fast. I got the car back just before closing, also very fast and smooth for the returning.

Agustin and Damian were our heros today! We rented a car from another Hertz location and had an issue with one tire. The two amazing staff identified the problem quickly and were able to solve it immediately. Aside, the two of them were also very friendly and accommodating. Staff are very friendly, I get a quite new Basalt, very practical with cableless CarPlay, we took photos together by pick up and return went very smooth in just 2 or 3 minutes, I got the email about cancel the deposit direct after return. What could be better is the tire should be checked and exchanged in time, I trust Hertz is competent to do that and should be the most reliable company in town, since you see in town on road they have the most new cars; as customer you should also be careful to check tires while pick up. it seems tires easily get punched on the road to El Chalten, I saw one other Hertz rental Basalt in El chalten parked with spare tire amounted, a poor guy with bad luck. A small tip to make the trip less stressful, the tire pressure monitor system in Basalt works not correctly after driving in curves, but you can reset it in ODE page with long pressing the sticker while the car is stopped.
