Fantastic experience. I've rented bikes all over SE Asia and this was the best. Absolutely excellent bloke. Helped us with advice for the route and checked in every night on WhatsApp so make sure we were OK and everything was going well. Provided all equipment I needed to secure bags and wet weather gear. Great prices (cheapest I found in Ha Giang) and good quality bikes. We had no problems despite riding through a typhoon. Thoroughly recommended.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience renting a motorbike from Hung for my adventure on the Ha Giang loop. After checking around various places, I found his prices to be the cheapest, which was a great start. Hungs service went above and beyond my expectations. He was with me every step of the way, offering support whenever I needed it. At one point, I had an issue with the gears sticking, but Hung was quick to provide me with directions to the nearest repair shop and even asked where I was staying so I think he was going to get someone to come to me. Luckily, an easy rider at the homestay I stopped at was able to fix it for me, but I appreciated that Hung was so attentive to any concerns. The motorbike came fully equipped with everything I needed: a phone holder, elastic cord to strap my bags to the motorbike, plastic covers for the bags, and two helmets, along with two rain covers for me and my partner. I wanted the bike delivered to my hotel and this is exactly what Hung did. He let me test drive it before we finalized everything and when I returned the bike which was was a day early, he was kind enough to partially refund me for the extra day I didn’t use it, despite having signed a contract. His professionalism was clear throughout, and I felt well taken care of. The bike wasn't brand new and I wasn't expecting it to be, but the main thing is the bike worked and we successfully completed the loop. He took a photo of my ID and had me sign a small contract that was in both Vietnamese and English. He was quick to respond to any questions I had via WhatsApp and checked in with me every day during my trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. To my surprise, after I got the bike, he sent me an English itinerary with recommendations for things to do, places to visit on the Ha Giang loop, and where to try local cuisine. I wasn’t expecting this, but it was an incredibly thoughtful touch. On top of all that, Hung also helped me organize my return bus to Hanoi. He got me a ticket for a price cheaper than what I could find anywhere else, and the bus ride was super comfortable. I was on a bus with locals (which I prefer), and I was dropped off in the Old Quarter, so it was super convenient for the next leg of my journey. This is my 4th time in Vietnam, I love the place, and when I return to Ha Giang, I will use this company again. If you're a Westerner looking to rent a bike, don't think you have to use a hostel, use his company. He's trustworthy and will take good care of you. All in all, Hung went above and beyond, and I highly recommend him if you’re planning to rent a bike in Ha Giang.
