I can't recommend this place enough. To be fair, I didn't have much interaction with other bike rental places, because nobody else had the particular bike I wanted, but service and customer care at TBR was over the top. They informed me extensively about what I might expect on my multi-day trip to Pai, and they were very patient with me and held the bike, as I weighed some of the legal and financial risks, for about 90 minutes! One staff member even gave me the lunch he'd just had delivered, because he knew that I needed to eat before getting on the road! They were very clear and thorough in communicating about pricing, deposit, etc, and the bike was in very good condition. They did multiple checks of fluids, brakes, lights, etc, and encouraged me to take a video of the bike before leaving. One piece of critical feedback is that the helmet selection might benefit from a refresher, or at least the visors. After trying several, the one I found that fit my head had a face shield that turned out to be so beat up that it was a real issue when driving in dusk or darkness. Easy fix. I ended up extending my rental twice, and it was easy communication by WhatsApp. Thanks TBR! This will be my go-to in Chiang Mai from now on.

Hired a CB500x for 7 days to do the Mae Hong Son loop. Bike was perfect for me and husband with panniers and topbox. Easy pick up and looked after our excess luggage for us. Husband dropped bike and snapped off end of brake lever. When returning the bike, the shop was more than fair and explained the charge. Highly recommend these guys.

I will definitely come back here. Rented a cb 500x for 2 weeks. I dropped the bike. Break lever broke off. They fixed it in less than an hour for a fair price so I could ride the last 5 days without any trouble. Absolutely recommend this place!

Easy, quick service. Happy with the bike. Quick documentation. Only scanned passport, didnt keep it. One downfall is the lack of info, for example we got stopped by police within 1 min of leaving because they were doing checks on all motorbikes for licenses. We paid 500 baht fine for not having motorbike license on our international drivers license. The rental shop didnt ask for any license. Anyway, you can then continue to use the vehicle even though its technically illegal (?!). I knew about this from research so we were not surprised to be stopped but it would have been good to have this info from the rental company. Anyway, returned the bike the same day, quick return snd we were out of there.

I rented a 125cc scooter here and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The first scooter I received had a very weak/old headlight, and the battery compartment under the seat was open, so I didn’t feel safe putting anything in the storage. The helmets provided were low quality, better helmets were only available for an extra fee. Because of the missing battery cover, I asked to change scooters. There was only one suitable scooter available, but it also had several issues. Scratches were not a problem, but the scooter often would not start. When I returned to report this, they insisted it was “not a problem” and it was implied that I simply didn’t know how to start a scooter, which felt disrespectful and unfair. The woman at the counter also spoke in a strangely aggressive tone and behaved unprofessionally. The only positive point was the older mechanic, he was very friendly and tried to explain things properly. I’ve rented scooters in Thailand many times (20+ rentals), and this was the worst scooter condition and the most unfriendly service I’ve experienced so far.
