I just had to write the review. If you come to Chiang Mai, rent your scooter from Stayments Scooter Rentals. They’re just so laid-back and cool that the whole experience feels effortless. I rented a Honda Click for one day. Then I wanted to extend it for four more days. At first I thought it would be complicated—had to return it by 1 pm the next day, but I had a tour that started at 9 am and ended late. I called them and said, “I can’t make it until after 5,” and they just said, “Yeah, yeah, no problem, just come.” So easy. The next day my tour finished earlier, I went to return the bike, but the owner was in the hospital. A lady from the neighboring shop called her and the owner just said, “Yeah, yeah, just give the money to her.” At first I was nervous—because you hear all these scam stories—but everything went smooth. No issues. Today when I returned the bike, Jack came and gave me back my 1,000 baht deposit, no questions. I even told him I hadn’t filled the gas back to the same level, maybe one bar less, and he just said, “Yeah, it’s fine.” That simple. No unfriendliness, no scamming, nothing shady—just genuine, decent people running a business with honesty. So I honestly recommend every single one of you who comes to Chiang Mai: rent your scooter from Stayments scooter rental.

Alex and team are great folks. I rented a brand new hybrid scooter from them for a month and the price was the same to other rental places for inferior, smaller more used bikes. Definitely recommend them if you're looking for awesome, honest service in Chiang Mai.
