Rented a bike to do the Mae Hong Song Loop a few weeks ago. Was good quality and the staff helped me by changing the saddle and stripping down the original racks etc. as I took my own light weight bike-packing gear. Bike had been fully serviced and new tyres/pads fitted prior to pickup. Great service - many thanks 😊

Smooth experience from start to finish. The team coordinated a seamless motorbike delivery right to the airport. The bike was in good condition, and the process was so easy that I extended my original one-month rental for another 30 days. Highly recommended! Tip: If you book here, check if your bike includes a phone holder and full-face helmet. Mine didn't, but it was a minor issue in an otherwise great rental.

Exceptional Service and Professionalism! I recently rented both a motorbike and a bicycle from Chiang Mai Bicycle, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. The staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making sure all of your needs are met. The process of renting both the motorbike and the bicycle was quick and straightforward. They made sure to explain everything clearly, and the vehicles were in excellent condition, ready for use. Whenever I had any questions or needed assistance, they were always just a call away and willing to help with a smile. If you're looking to rent a motorbike or bicycle in Chiang Mai, look no further. Chiang Mai Bicycle is the place to go. Their customer service truly sets them apart, and I can't thank the staff and manager enough for making my time in Chiang Mai even better. Highly recommend! From a solo British traveller.

Hi Although i have rated 4 stars it is only for the condition of the cycle and our guide’s kindness in providing us refreshments I did this unknown Chiang Mai tour and after the tour i can vouch that Chiang Mai is still unknown. This is a very blah tour with rides around markets, schools and temples… super busy areas not a good ride. I would highly recommend to avoid this tour and maybe choose some other experience. Unknown Chiang Mai is highly overrated it is better to just hire a bicycle for 50-150 TBH and ride around on your own.

Got it — here’s the corrected version with that fixed and smoothly integrated: This cycling tour was a wonderful way to explore the countryside at a relaxed pace. There was a 20-minute pickup from the city to the countryside before the cycling began. Our first stop was a padi rice field. As the rice had just started growing, our guide Win showed us photos of the full planting and harvesting process, which really helped with visualisation. We also learned that during the dry season, the same plot of land is used to grow vegetables — a great example of sustainable land use. I especially liked hearing about the kampung spirit, where neighbours help one another with farming on their plots of land. Another memorable stop was a local factory that builds wooden temple houses used in cremation rituals. The wooden structures are carefully covered with coloured paper chosen by the family, and it takes just one day to decorate the entire house. The coffin is placed inside before the structure is eventually burned for cremation. It was very eye-opening to learn about this cultural practice. We then stopped at a wood carving workshop for a toilet break, drinks, and fruits — all provided as part of the tour. You can also purchase the wood carvings made by the owner if you wish. The final stop was a temple about 20 years old, where we were shown detailed wood carvings done by a female artisan, which was impressive. After the last stop, it was a solid 30-minute ride back to where we began. This was followed by a short 5-minute car ride to lunch at Happy Days Thai Food, which was a buffet spread with a good balance of protein, vegetables, and fruits. After lunch, there was another ~20-minute ride back to the original pick-up point. Do note that the water bottles provided must be returned at the end of the tour as part of their recycling programme. 4 hours cycling at ฿2,272.00 for 2 pax.
