Smooth and customer-oriented. That was our experience with BudgetCatcher. We wanted to rent a car to go from Chiang Mai to Pai, so we contacted their office in the Old Town. Ever since the first conversation, they were very attentive and willing to think along with us to match our needs the best possible way. And so they did: they delivered the car at the location and at the time we requested and they also allowed us to bring the car back to a different location in Chiang Mai that was a better fit for our plans. They even transferred us from that location to the airport with no extra cost. The car itself was in perfect state and had more than enough power to climb up the sharp slopes on the way to Pai! On a bit of a whim, I chose BudgetCatcher for our rental since the price was much better than the other rental options we found in Chiang Mai. It ended up being a great choice. We were planning a road trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, and they were able to accommodate us by allowing the car to be returned at the Chiang Rai airport, which made the trip much easier. Due to some poor planning on our part, we initially rented a vehicle that didn’t have quite enough power to climb the mountain to our Airbnb. After talking with the staff, they quickly helped us upgrade to a larger, more powerful vehicle without any hassle. They really went out of their way to make sure we had something that would work for our trip. All of the staff we dealt with were amazing, very polite and easy to communicate with. The WhatsApp communication was especially helpful and made everything simple to coordinate. The setup may feel a little different from the standard rental car process we’re used to in Canada, but overall it worked really well. I would definitely recommend renting from them—just be prepared for a few small quirks like coordinating airport pickup and drop-off. If I’m back in the area, I’d happily rent from them again.

Great price. Seamless experience for a 4 day rental. Got a very low mileage (15K km) Honda City. Super clean. Picked up by staff from CNX airport and sorted out paperwork in the office nearby. Paid the deposit and rental cost in cash. Deposit returned in cash on drop-off and after clearing damage inspection. Will definitely use again.
