SIXT - Rent a Car & Selfdrive Mongolia Tours

We rented a car from Sixt in Mongolia for three days and had a great experience. The service staff was absolutely friendly, helpful, and always reachable whenever we needed assistance. They really went above and beyond to make everything smooth and easy for us. The car was in good condition and the whole process was professional and uncomplicated. Jargal has been very very helpful thru my journey , its a miracle i hired a car during lunar new year of mongolia and thanks to him who drive back to Ulaanbaatar just to help me with the car hire and bring me the car. Car was perfect, he helped me thru car wash, fill petrol etc, what a wonderful experience with him!

This was my second trip with Liqui Molly Extreme and it was once again excellent! Goo and our tour guides were always very friendly, helpful and willing do adapt to each new days challenges. The bikes were also in great condition and did not give us any problems whatsoever. The meals that were presented to us were tasty and filling and is not easy when you’re in the middle of nowhere. This year our route took us Northwest and the scenery was spectacular averaging around 350-400km per day. Thank you to Goo and the team, you were all extremely helpful and professional and we will be back next year!

Great experience - both from the deal and from the ride. Highly recommend! If you haven’t booked an accompanied tour yet, consider this self-drive option. Saves you tons of precious time at souvenir shops, “nomad” villages etc. As for the service - the car was delivered fast, condition was great (24,000 km only) and the manager Jargal was super-friendly with fluent English. Will use the service again with no doubt!

We rented a UAZ Patriot from SIXT Mongolia for our four weeks trip through the country. Our experience was very diverse - from the car point of view very bad: 1) the trunk didn’t properly open, and this was a problem already mentioned a couple months ago by another renter and was still not repaired by SIXT, 2) the Gearbox for the two wheels/four-wheel-drive obviously was not properly maintained since at one point of view it got stuck in the car could not be moved anymore. We had to wait for a couple of hours for a mechanic to arrive and fix something beneath the car with a gearbox to continue our trip, 3) another day the motor for closing/lifting the rear window did not function anymore, and we had to drive several hours with the open window, 4) The car was equipped with a plastic car jack for lifting a 2+ ton pick up and when we actually had a flat tire and try to change it the car jack broke and we need to wait hours to get help with a more quality car jack, 5) we got a car wich was fully branded with a German motor oil company without any price reduction, and more over my wife could not use any pictures with the car for her social media profile.
