OMG what an amazing company . We are from Australia and used to 4WD driving and so we didn’t know what to expect when coming to Mongolia. I read some good write ups on line regarding Drive Mongolia but once you meet Batta and his team you will know you’re dealing with a great company willing to help you plan your trip and make sure your vehicle is fully equipped. Their English is perfect and they checked up on us regularly during our tricky October adventure . Look no further when planning your adventure. They are a credit to Mongolia

Just came back from a 2 weeks/4400km solo road trip around central, south and north Mongolia. The Suzuki Jimny from Drive Mongolia I received was pretty new and in excellent condition and well equipped with camping gear as well as mechanical tools. It was a reliable car even in very bumpy, muddy, sandy and rocky roads. Try to minimize driving in UB, its strenous because of traffic. Thank you, especially Orgil who gave me really good advice via WhatsApp along the road! 🤗

Drive Mongolia was an incredible company to use. I highly recommend them. I used them for 12 days. Here’s a couple of tips that may help you. Their location is approximately a 10 min walk from the Ramada Hotel in Ulaanbaatar (UB). The vehicle was clean and in very good working order. You must bring it back they way you got it so remember to make time to have the vehicle cleaned and fueled before getting back. You will be charged if it’s not cleaned. I assumed this would take a few hours so I allotted my last day in UB for doing this. UB’s traffic is treacherous and not for the weak. Once you’re out of the city, it’s smooth sailing. The company can provide all essentials for camping and the gear is decent. (Coleman sleeping bags, basic butane stoves) I brought my own gear as I’m very particular however, I used an extra sleeping back that was provided to keep warm during a snowstorm. It was greatly appreciated. They also slap an AirTag on the vehicle keys. It’s annoying as the beeping goes off at night sometimes but in the end, not that big of deal. If you’re wondering if the trip was worth it… it most certainly was. I’ve already planned a return trip in 2025 for 2 months. It was that good!! GO GET LOST!

A fantastic experience with this company, both in communication and vehicle, from start to finish. Haliuna was a pleasure to work with, and she made sure my requests were met over and above. Crossing Mongolia, East to West, to the Altai mountains and back, as well as many locations across Gobi, was a flawless ride in a fantastic fresh Land Cruiser 76. Mongolia is a rough terrain and one can experience all types of off-roading in a span of a few hours: sharp rocks, switchbacks, sand, snow and the never-ending washboard roads! Unlike with other companies, their cars come already fully loaded with everything you will need, spare tires, camping gear, insurance. Highly recommend!

Poor experience. Read the contract carefully! They charge extra fees for a few things you might be not prepared to. Very disappointing, they looked so nice and communication was nice. If you pay deposit by card, they add extra 3%. If you return the car unwashed they charge you 40USD. That's 70USD out of nowhere. That's on top of being already quite expensive. Yes it's nice they give you camp gear but it doesn't cost the money they get from you in a tricky way. Better find a different company.
